Copper Beeches aims to provide a “home from home” and offers three comfortable reception rooms, comprising a sitting room, adjoining dining room, and the sunroom, with patio doors leading out onto a sheltered terrace. The terrace looks out onto the lawn area.

The home offers 18 single bedrooms and a one double bedroom. Fifteen of the 19 bedrooms have en-suite facilities, including 9 with full en-suite shower rooms. The remaining bedrooms offer a wash hand basin. All bedrooms have a nurse call facility; and a tv aerial point.

The home has 2 bathrooms, one on the ground floor, the other on the first floor. In addition, there are 3 separate toilets, 2 on the ground floor, convenient to the reception rooms and 1 toilet on the first floor.

You are most welcome to and are indeed encouraged to personalise your room with small items of furniture, pictures and ornaments. We will be pleased to assist you by fitting picture hooks, shelving etc. Please note that any upholstered furniture brought into the home must be fire retardant to BS1021.

Your bedroom is fitted with a nurse call facility, which when pressed, will alert staff to the fact that you need assistance. You are entitled to use your nurse call buzzer to summon help at any time, day or night.

Pets!

Copper Beeches encourages family members to bring the family pet in for visits. Pets are a large part of your loved one’s therapy. They immediately put a smile on everyone’s face and brightens everyone’s day, staff included. Management also bring their own family pets into the home. All we ask is that their vaccinations are up to date, regular flea and worm treatment and their temperament is suitable for the environment. They can just sit alongside or go for a walk in the grounds.

We do not accept permanent pets into the home.
